Excell Roadservice is a AAA Preferred Service Provider with a focus on Service Excellence. Although we are human, we strive to provide the fastest and most caring service possible. AAA has recognized us as a Service Provider of Excellence for 11 consecutive years. We pride ourselves on respecting our customers and hopefully educating them in the process.
SERVICES
We service the North Shore, North, and NW Suburbs of Chicago. Although we are a AAA contractor, we also provide private jump start and expert battery replacement services.
Jump Start/Service Call $55 (includes free battery test)
Most Batteries $315* (installed, all-inclusive price)
AGM Batteries $425* (installed, all-inclusive price)
* Service call charge is included in the battery price, NOT added on.
ALL batteries carry a 3-year free replacement warranty*.
Helpful Tips!
- MOST vehicles need approximately 10-15 minutes to recharge the battery just from starting!
- Remember, the worst thing for a car battery...is to sit in a car!!!
- With many working from home these days, it's a best practice to start your car every 2-3 days for at least 30-45 minutes to keep battery healthy.
- If you see the BATTERY light on your instrument cluster, it's typically a charging system problem, not the battery. (Not logical, we get it)

Warmer weather means higher temperatures under the hood, which speeds up corrosion inside a battery. It can cause water to evaporate from a battery's liquid electrolyte, reducing battery capacity and diminishing the ability to start an engine. A battery's power can also be drained further when the alternator becomes overwhelmed by electronic gadgets and must rely on the battery for assistance.
Based on studies from Battery Council International and the Society of Automotive Engineers, the perfect temperature for a car battery is 80° F (26.7° C) for overall life and performance.
